The society prints the Lawrence County Historical Journal, an excellent collection of historical articles about the county, under the guidance of Ethel Tompkins, editor.

The publication was known as the Lawence County Historical Quarterly from 1978 through 1992, then was changed to the Lawrence County Historical Journal from 1996 until present.

Membership in the society is $20.00 per year and entitles members to the Journal. Current and selected back issues of the journal are available for sale. The price is $5.00 per issue. Please send email to info@lchsar.org to inquire about which journals are available before sending your money.
